"My friends suck." I said to Tatum who was looking at me with an amused grin on her face. We were currently standing in line to go on Space Mountain.
 
"I thought you'd like that particular talent." She said cheekily winking at me to let me know she was joking. "But seriously do you really want them here when you have my lovely company."
 
I raised an eyebrow "Well when you put it like that."
 
"Exactly, point proven, I'm a joy to be around"She joked, flashing a cheeky smile before shoving me gently. "Whatever helps you sleep at night" I laughed, shaking my head.
 
"Hey, I find it insulting that you don't think I'm a joy" She crossed her arms over her chest and frowned. I laughed, shaking my head again.
 
"Would I be at Disneyland with you if I thought you weren't a 'joy'?"I questioned, raising an eyebrow and forcing back a smile. Well i was trying , i am not sure if it was actually working.
 
"That's true" She said slowly, "I forgot to mention how incredibly amazing I am too" She joked.
 
"Yeah, yeah, you're amazing too" I laughed, "but for someone so amazing, you sure do talk a lot."
 
"That is because i am amazing and people want to listen to what i say Alec. " She said in a fake scolding voice. "Geez i thought you know that."
 
"Oh yes i must have forgot that too." I said with a chuckle."Dam,n"
 
"You should probably get your memory checked." Tatum said with a smirk. "The way you are forgetting stuff you might forget your own name."
 
"I'm pretty sure i have a name tag at home just incase that happens. " I said sarcastically.
 
"But if you forgot your name how would you know it's your name tag?" Tatum asked with an eyebrow raised "Think about it."
 
"Well that is a surprisingly good point." I said frowning a little. I hated admitting that she raised a good point even if the conversation was about anything important.
 
"Oi! What do you mean surprising?"
 
"Intelligence wasn't on the list of things about you, was it?" I joked, as we gradually made it to the front of the queue. "Nope, I can only recall being amazing and a joy to be around" I added.
 
"Well, I like to think I'm intelligent" She pouted "No, wait, I don't think, I know I'm intelligent."
 
"You're extremely modest today, more the usual" I observed. "I'm at Disneyland, of course I'm in a good mood."
 
"Please tell me this isn't your first time at Disneyland?"
 
"Why would that be a problem?" Tatum asked rolling her eyes.
 
I shrugged "No , It's just weird."
 
"Weird?" She repeated "How exactly is it weird Al?"
 
"Well i used to go all the time in the states."
 
"Well, aren't you just a lucky duck then" She chuckled, as we finally made it to the ride. "Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity" She shrugged casually. Again Weird.
 
"Well, I hope today you have an extra blast filled day" I grinned, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "I'm sure I will" She nodded, smiling up at me.
 
"How could you not when i am your company." I said grinning.
 
Tatum shook her head shrugging me off. "You are an idiot you know." She said with a small smile on her face.
 
"Yeah , I am pretty sure you've told me a few times."
 
"Yet you still don't try and act less like an idiot" She joked, grinning. Our conversation was bought to a halt as we enjoyed a couple rides and then found ourselves searching for food.
 
"I'm hungry, I could eat a horse"Tatum commented, smiling wide. "You have quite an appetite for a lady with class" I replied with a hint of sarcasm.
 
"I won't be insulted by your sarcasm because I know I am classy" She retorted. "We need to find some food before I starve and whither away" she added.
 
"I doubt that'll happen in the next five minutes of searching for food" I reminded her. "And don't act like you're dying" I laughed.
 
"I am though, so hungry" She added, smiling some more.
 
I shook my head amused "What happened to the whole not eating thing? Isn't that models are meant to do."
 
"Oh shut up. You know i love my food. Plus i'll just hit the gym or something tomorrow." She said "Oh a fairy floss stand.."
 
"You know what i always wondered.why is it called fairy floss and isn't it just cotton candy ?"
 
"Alec, It's food. That is all that matters."
 
"All that matters?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow as Tatum took hold of my wrist and wandered toward the fairy floss stand.
 
"As you can tell, food is important to me" she told me grinning. "I'm still questioning why you became a model, then" I said.
 
"Firstly, not all models have to be stick-thin, I'd rather have curves then be like a twig. Secondly, I'm mostly a designer, I only started modelling three years ago" she reminded me, smiling.
 
"So, modelling is something you just do on the side?" I questioned, as Tatum bought us both fairy floss. "Yeah, I guess, but I'm enjoying it more than I thought. But fashion design is definitely my number one priority."
 
"At least you're doing something you love" I smiled, eating some of the fairy floss.
 
Tatum nodded, "wait, should you be eating that? I mean, you're the professional model here" she smirked.
 
"Model and musician" I corrected, "I divide my time between the two."
 
"Oh yeah i forgot." She said "That be because i never actually heard you play. I am under the impression then you and your mates get together under the ruse of 'band practice' and just get drunk."
 
While what she said was pretty true , i lost count of how many band practices had ended that way but amongst the drunk conversation there was actually music being made there.
 
"Well that is because you are always busy." I said with a shrug. "And to answer your question i can handle fairy candy if i have to."
 
"You mean fairy floss."
 
"Quit correcting me, woman" I chuckled, eating some more of the fairy floss. "Well, you corrected me so I'm just getting back at you" she smiled.
 
"Whatever, whatever" I shook my head, smiling.
 
"Alec" Tatum paused, causing me to look at her, "thanks for today" she smiled gently.
 
"It was no problem at all" I shrugged, returning a smile.
 
"I've enjoyed myself" I added. "That's because you've spent the day with me, duh" Tatum joked, grinning. "But I have too" she smiled.
 
"We'll do it again, sometime" I smiled. She nodded, "definitely."

Sunday 12th - For those of you who's mothers are around it's mothers day. So it time spoil that special lady you call 'mum'. If not then a group of us are doing a charity walk to raise money for breast cancer awareness , don't forget to wear pink.

"Wren are you playing attention?" Len asked on his third cigarette.
He blew the smoke out into the crisp morning air. We were currently sitting on the balcony of his apartment. The yearly mothers day brunch was being held at his house this time and i was called into help though so far we had only managed to wrap presents and made store bought food look presentable.
 
"Too what?" I asked looking out over the balcony.
It wasn't a stunning view by any means.
Instead it was just a pattern of small bush areas , high view apartments and roads.
 
"Me." He said "Duh , you are going to uni right? how come you are getting dumber."
 
"Shut up." I said flicking some of the ash that was piling up at him. "What did i miss that was so important that it caused you to question my intelligence?"
 
"I was talking about Harry." He said with a grimace.
 
I looked away back out over the balcony "It is getting worse isn't it?"
 
From the corner of my eye i could Len nod solemnly a frown etched across his face. "But today we just act like nothing is wrong."
 
"For mum?"
 
"Yes. And for Harry... I guess." He said with a shrug.
 
I rolled my eyes "He doesn't need people tiptoping around what is going on."
 
"We aren't."
 
"Yes we are , we are pretending nothing wrong when there is." I said.
This subject was always something that annoyed me.
 
"There is no point in starting something , today especially ." Len said looking at me , "Just don't" He said seriously before taking a long drag off his cigarette.
 
I shrugged not saying anything. No matter what i said it wouldn't be the right thing.
 
"So what time are they meant to get here?" I asked changing the subject. He shrugged checking his wrist despite not even having a watch on. "Soon?"
 
"Then we should finish what we are doing."
